I Love That Giraffe!

At this point I was missing all the journalling bits of the kit, so I had to make up my own journalling spot. It hasn't come out too badly, actually.

Storm Clouds Are Gathering

Took the picture during a retreat to Hunstanton with John's work colleagues. The weather wasn't brilliant, but it did make for some great moody shots of the sky!

Made with the November kit from Sarah's Cards and also using this for the Sarah's Cards sketch challenge on their blog

Holidays in Hand - 2

So I'm certainly doing this as a digital album. I've prepped 31 days worth of layouts ready to have their pictures and embellies added. As they're done I'll pop them up here with the prompt card, which I may (or may not!) use.

UKS Cyber Crop

These are my favourites from the recent Cyber Crop on UKS.

One of the Summer school locations, Hundale Point. This was taken about twenty minutes after a massive rain storm.

My parents on Glastonbury Tor. The little felt cherries came from one of my Bijoux Belles! :)

Sunset at Grand Canyon, South Rim.

Degas

I did something rather random the other day. I went into the cheap housey store round the corner and bought myself some (oh dear) Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen papers. Eek! In my defence it was very cheap and came with rubber stamps, ink pads and ribbons. However, I thought I'd better make something out of the papers and here it is:

Holidays in Hand

This year I am attempting Jessica Sprague's Holidays in Hand Class. I'm not sure how much of it I'll end up doing as the plan is to create an album, which I know I won't be doing. Still, it looks as if there's a layout every day that can be made and I may well be doing that as a digital layout as I don't have the facilities as home to print pictures out on a day to day basis.

For that reason I won't be printing off the daily prompt sheets, they'd be black and white, so what's the point?! But I may put them up here - depending how organised I am (or not) in December.

In general I'm a bit sceptical about Xmyth, especially the American-style Xmyth, so we'll see how it goes.

Judy!

My mother objects to having hre name shortened to Judy, but sometimes your Alphas run out and there are no more I's and T's left. Needs must!

This was taken in September on a blackberry picking expedition.

Nutmeg

I found three new pictures of Nutmeg, of which this is one. I decided to cut into my new Halloween papers and turn her into my Witches Cat.
